Angie Harmon is an American model and actress who has appeared in number of TV and film series over the years. Initially she worked as model for fashion. However, after becoming well-known internationally, she decided to act. Her acting career began in 1995, when she appeared on a TV show called Baywatch Nights. Harmon also has done voice-overs and been the voice of an animated version of Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker'. Harmon was able to decide in the year 2000, to focus solely on movies. Following a couple of films and a few short films, she returned to her television role. The year 2008 saw her being among of the few actresses to pose discreetly nude in "Allure Magazine". The role of the detective Jane Rizzoli was her most notable work on the TNT series Rizzoli & Isles. Her role as Detective Jane Rizzoli was highly appreciated and she was awarded numerous prizes. Angie Harmon was nominated over these past years for her excellent performances, but did not win any awards.
